Return Policy
Our Satisfaction Guarantee Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the merchandise within 90 days of the original purchase date with valid proof of purchase. Merchandise returned with valid proof of purchase will receive a refund in the manner of original payment (exclusions apply) for merchandise only.
Rockler does not accept returns without valid proof of purchase. In Rockler’s discretion, if the original transaction included promotional Rewards Cards (not Gift Cards), then the Promotional Rewards Cards will be voided if unused or the refund amount will be reduced by the amount of the Rewards Card redeemed.

*Merchandise being returned must include all components to receive a full refund. Customer will be responsible for shipping charges unless item is damaged or defective. Once the merchandise is received and processed, the return will be refunded. Some items may incur a restocking fee. Software and downloadable plans are non-returnable. Rewards cards (or free gift cards with purchase) will be voided if unused, or the refund amount will be deducted based on the value of the gift card if redeemed.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Process
Rockler encourages that merchandise be approved for authorization prior to being returned. Power tools and direct ship items require authorization on all returns. The manufacturer’s warranty supersedes any offer from Rockler. Please contact customer at 1-800-376-7856 or fill out the online request form on Rockler.com. Once the authorization is approved, you will receive instructions on how to return merchandise.
Web Order Returns
Merchandise purchased online at Rockler.com may be returned by mail and must follow the Rockler return policy guidelines. For instructions on returning merchandise at one of our retail locations, see In-Store Returns. For power tool returns, please see Power Tools. Items may be subject to a restocking fee and customer is responsible for shipping.
Third Party Web Orders
Rockler branded merchandise purchased through third party websites (eBay, Amazon) will need to follow the third-party return guidelines. You may contact Rockler’s customer service department for further information.
Power Tool Returns
Power tools, CNC machines and laser products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and supersede any offer from Rockler. All items require authorization before returning. Please contact Rockler’s customer service department for authorization and return instructions. Customer will be responsible for shipping costs and restocking fees based on the price of the merchandise being returned. Laguna and Sawstop power tools are non-returnable.
Router Bits Returns
Guarantee: If a Rockler Router bit fails to perform for any reason, we will replace it. No proof of purchase required. Exchange the product at your local Rockler retail store or mail it to Rockler at 4365 Willow Dr, Medina MN 55340. Name and address must be included in the package to process the exchange.
Drawer Slides Returns
Guarantee: If a Rockler TopSlide/Centerline Lifetime drawer slide fails to perform for any reason, we will replace it. No proof of purchase required. Exchange the product at your local Rockler retail store or mail it to Rockler at 4365 Willow Dr., Medina MN 55340. Name and address must be included in the package to process the exchange.
Direct Ship Returns
Merchandise purchased and shipped directly from the manufacturer is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and supersede any offer from Rockler. All items require authorization before returning. Please contact Rockler’s customer service department for authorization and return instructions. Customer will be responsible for shipping costs and restocking fees.
In-Store Return Process
Items purchased at Rockler’s retail stores must be returned to a Rockler retail store location. For power tool returns, authorization is required. See Power Tools for more details.
Web orders
Merchandise that is returned to a Rockler store location will receive a refund in the order of original payment, unless payment was made through Amazon Pay or PayPal. Sales tax may vary based on the location merchandise is returned and will follow the tax guidelines of that store. Original shipping charges will not be refunded. Customer will have to present the original credit card used to receive refund or a Rockler rewards card will be issued.
Amazon Pay and Pay Pal
Purchases made with either tender require third party processing, and stores can only issue a Rockler rewards card.
Cash or Debit Card Returns
Merchandise returns made to a retail store with a receipt may require a mailed check due to limitations of cash on hand in store.
