Router Plate Buying Guide

Rockler offers both Aluminum and Phenolic router plates that fit nearly every router on the market. Read on for more information about choosing a guide for your router table.

Rockler Aluminum Pro Router Plates

Rockler Pro Plates are CNC-machined from solid aluminum for the utmost in flatness, precision and durability. They will not sag, and are generously dimensioned at 8-1/4" x 11-3/4". They work equally as well with shop-made router tables as they do with Rockler tables, and fit both our current tables and most of our old tables as well.

Rockler Phenolic Router Plates

An excellent lower-cost router plate with a low-friction surface that won't warp, dent, scratch or delaminate. In addition, phenolic is very stable and extremely durable. At 8-1/4" x 11-3/4", they fit both our current tables and most of our old tables, and work equally as well with shop-made router tables.

Which Router Plate Do I Need?

To choose a pre-drilled plate (in either phenolic or aluminum), find your router below. Note that you may have to drill for the height adjustment rod on your router, if it has one. We are not able to pre-drill for all possible rod locations, since that would compromise the stiffness of the plates.

If your router is not listed: or you prefer less holes in the plate, choose from two non-drilled plates: one with a 4" insert ring, and the other a 4-3/8" insert ring, and drill the plate to fit your router.
