The Woodcut Tools Bowlsaver is money in the bank, allowing you to triple your turning output by getting up to 3 nested bowls from a single large bowl blank. Material that would have otherwise been reduced to shavings can now be turned into two additional bowls that can be sold as the perfect grain-matched set. It works on bowl blanks up to 12'' in diameter. The Bowlsaver Bowl Coring system uses a semi-circular cutter to scoop out most of the waste, leaving a perfect blank for another small bowl. This bowl can then also be hollowed in the same way, leaving a third bowl blank. The Bowlsaver is attached to the lathe via the lathe tool post and is also supported by a Morse taper that fits into the tailstock of the lathe. It includes two blades with Stellite cutters that withstand shocks caused by knots and other hard spots, producing great results with either seasoned or unseasoned timber. If turned unseasoned, the resulting bowl blanks can be put aside for seasoning and finishing at a later date. Includes 1'' Diameter Tool Rest Post.
