We've made this Thin Kerf Riving Knife available for those who wish to use thin kerf blades on any of the Laguna Fusion Table Saws (sold separately). The riving knife should always be used when the blade guard is removed. Only the Thin Kerf Riving Knife can be used with thin kerf saw blades. Once installed, it helps prevent kickback by keeping the board from pinching the sawblade as it is fed through the saw.
