No, it's not real gold, but you'd hardly know by just looking at it. Also known as Dutch metal or imitation gold, Tamise Gold is a brass alloy formulated for its rich yellow color. Once shredded into flakes, it adds a luxurious glimmer to gilding, casting projects, or inlay accents for any woodworking, turning, or crafting project. It can be mixed with a variety of resins or adhesives and sands easily. A little goes a long way.
