Spanish cedar is fairly uniform in color: a light pink to reddish brown that tends to darken over time. The grain is straight, with a medium texture and moderate luster. Spanish cedar is easily worked either by hand or machine. It's most well-known for its use in cigar boxes, where its distinct aroma serves well, but it is also commonly used for boat building and luthiery, especially flamenco and classical guitars. Planed S4S and cut to length for convenient use in a variety of projects.
