Rubbing the faces of your waterstones over this Flattening Stone’s 320-grit black silicon carbide will quickly expose fresh abrasive, while removing any residual metal swarf and eliminating surface irregularities. Deep diagonal grooves in the Flattening Stone prevent waste from accumulating during the abrading process. Our Silicone Sharpening Tray (#74995, sold separately) is a handy way to hold your stone during use.
