Rockler Flush-Cutting Router Jig

When you have to trim a large area flush with the surrounding surface, don't reach for a sander first, reach for a router. That is, if the router is equipped with our Flush-Cutting Jig. You'll save time, sandpaper, and you'll get a better, flatter result. It's the perfect solution for flush-trimming bow tie/butterfly keys, inlay work, dowel ends, pegged joints, and a wide variety of other inlay applications. The jig features two adjustable arms that can be arranged to provide maximum support for the router sub-base. The slot movement provides a maximum routing area of about 4-1/2'', and the jig itself can be moved laterally without limit. Attach it to any compact or midsize router with a baseplate that accepts a standard guide bushing.

• Includes plastic shim for setting bit cutting depth 0.01'' above final surface to minimize sanding
• Outrigger arms swing out to make space for larger inlays and swing back in for smaller applications such as routing screw plugs—detents hold arms in place
