Fence featherboards hold your work down against the router table, helping to prevent lifting for smoother cuts and better accuracy. Since they apply pressure near the router bit, your hands can remain at a safe distance from the cutter. The Fence Featherboard includes T-bolts that slide into the accessory T-track (or the routed T-slot) of your fence. As with all featherboards, the angled feathers help to prevent kickback. The first feather on the featherboard is slightly shorter than the rest for easy setup. Simply adjust so that the first feather grazes your work; as you continue feeding the piece through, the longer feathers will engage with the proper pressure. Slots in the featherboard provide 2'' of adjustment range.
