Don't let the cuteness of our 2'' C-Clamps fool you—with steel construction and a rugged Acme screw, each is capable of generating up to 550 pounds of force. And as compact as they are, you can easily pack that pressure into really tight spaces. With a jaw opening of 2'', the clamps are great for face gluing two pieces of 3/4'' thick stock, or for use as hold-down clamps when you need minimal interference from the clamp, such as when clamping a straight edge guide in place for your router.
