With its large 8'' disc and longer belt, the Rikon 50-1428 Belt/Disc Sander is well-suited for larger work and more demanding sanding tasks. It fits on a benchtop or table to provide a versatile sanding station wherever you need it. If you're machining multiple small parts, you can set it up right next to your bandsaw or scroll saw so you can sand parts immediately after cutting, with minimal handling. The sander features a powerful 3/4 HP motor with a belt speed of 3,580 SFPM and a disc speed of 3,580 RPM. Easily accessible knobs and levers allow quick adjustments.
