A geared drivetrain with variable speed ranging from 250 to 3000 RPM give the Powermatic 2815BT versatility not found in competing benchtop drill presses. The geared spindle and electronic variable speed ensure that no torque is lost throughout the range of speeds. The 2815BT features an easily adjustable table that measures a full 12-1/2'' x 11-5/8'' in size, with a large removable insert. The table tilts left and right a full 90°, useful for drilling at extreme angles, and also for drilling into the end grain of long stock. The precision laser pinpoints the exact drilling location, while the included LED light drastically improves visibility and reduces shadows.
