Polyx Oil Effect Raw Matte 3051 is a semi-clear hardwax oil finish with added white pigment to counteract the ambering effect of the natural vegetable oils and waxes. This helps preserve the raw, natural color of lighter woods like maple, birch, ash and white oak. On darker woods, trace amounts of the white pigment will settle into the pores, resulting in a slightly muted look. Like many other oil finishes, Polyx Oil Effect retains a close-to-the-wood look, is easily applied with a brush, pad or cloth, and can be seamlessly spot repaired without any need for sanding. The unique microporous formula bonds with the wood fibers on a molecular level, ensuring exceptional durability and a beautiful finish that won't crack, flake or peel. Easy to apply in 2 coats, with no need to sand between coats.

Note: Raw Matte 3051 contains just enough white pigment to neutralize the natural amber cast of oils and waxes. This helps preserve the raw, natural color of lighter woods. On darker woods, trace amounts of the white pigment will settle into the pores, resulting in a slightly muted look.
