Nova Chuck Jaw Sets

Choose the jaw set that best fits the needs of your turning project! Nova jaws boast superb holding power when matched with the appropriate workpiece. They cut into the wood, grip firmly in both contraction and expansion mode and provide high tear out strength. These jaws fit all of the Nova chucks, allowing you to interchange the jaws across all chuck models to achieve different capacities. Some jaws, however, are not recommended for use with certain chucks.

NOVA 100mm (4'') Jaw Set - JS100N (#: 46860)

The 4'' NOVA Jaw Set is designed for expanded dovetail or reverse dovetail use. Ideal for gripping footed bowls and mounting false (custom) wooden jaws. Not recomended for square spigot work.

NOVA 130mm (5'') Jaw Set - JS13ON (#: 49646)

Designed as the jumbo versio nof JS100N. Ideal for handling large work of up to 750mm in diameter. Suggested for use with both the Titan chuck and the SuperNOVA 2. Sugggested for use with centre saving systems.

NOVA 50mm (2'') Jaw Set - JS50N (#: 48239)

This versatile jaw is a standard with all Teknatool chuck versions and is ideal for those starting out before they move on to more specialized jaws.

NOVA 35mm (1.37'') Jaw Set - 6019 (#: 47711)

Designed for holding large bowls or moderate hollow forms it features dovetail walls that are three times the thickness of conventional jaw types. Allows for a gentle but firm hold.

NOVA 25mm (1'') Jaw Set - JS25N (#: 46035)

Ideal for small bowl and small unsupported spigot turning.

Features:

• Nova chucks give you the same jaw fixing system and same insert/adapter system across all chuck models.
• All accessory jaws in the range will fit all the chucks in the range for optimum flexibility. Some, however, are not recommended. See individual jaws for recommendations.
