When compared to standard-issue bench chisels, the Narex Premium Bevel Edge Chisels have much narrower, tapering sides that provide easy access to tight corners. This makes them ideal for cleaning out the bases of dovetails after chopping out the bulk of the waste. Hardened to 59 HRC for excellent edge retention, the chisels feature fine-grained Chrome-Manganese steel blades, brass ferrules and nicely finished hornbeam handles.
Narex Premium Bevel Edge Chisel Details:
- Sides are significantly thinner (about 1mm) compared to standard chisels, enabling unobstructed access to dovetail corners
- Handles are made from hard, hefty hornbeam—strong enough to withstand heavy mallet blows
- Blades forged from Czech-made Cr-Mn steel, heat treated and tempered to 59 HRC
