Laguna Tools V-Carve Pro CNC Software

V-Carve Pro provides a powerful but intuitive software solution for cutting parts on CNC routers, including the Laguna KX:24 (#78545, sold separately). There are tools for 2D design and calculating 2D and 2.5D toolpaths, along with the ability to import and toolpath 3D models. You can also import Vectric Clip Art 3D models (V3M) to create 3D assemblies. The software will import 2D designs from other programs, or you can use its full set of drawing and editing tools to create your own custom designs. The toolpath options cover all typical 2D routing operations such as profiling, pocketing, auto inlays and drilling as well as 2.5D strategies—V-carving, prism carving, fluting and even a decorative texturing strategy. For 3D modeling, you can both rough out and finish the model, as well as project 2D and 2.5D toolpaths onto the 3D surface. Each toolpath includes options for customizing the settings and provides a high level of operational control. All toolpaths can be previewed to show just how the part will look when it is actually cut, allowing for instant feedback so you can make further modifications as necessary without wasting time or material.
