It features two speed settings: 3,450 RPM for rapid material removal where heat build-up is less of a concern, or 1,725 RPM for slower, cooler and more controlled sharpening tasks on heat-sensitive metals. Two 8'' aluminum oxide wheels in 60- and 120-grit are included, so you can get up and running quickly. Sturdy, extra-wide tool rests adjust and lock quickly to the angle you need. Stable, low-vibration operation is ensured, thanks to its industrial-grade bearings, a cast iron base with rubber feet and slots for permanent mounting. And you'll be able to work more confidently and safely with a flexible LED light that's powered by the grinder, plus a pair of protective eye shields—one has 3X magnification.

When the time comes to replace the wheels, you can choose between 60-, 80- or 120-grit aluminum oxide options (#77332, #77364 or #70674) or 80- or 180-grit CBN wheels (#75479, #75923), all sold separately.
