The Standard Desk Kit from Kit&Co. allows anyone with basic skills to make a beautiful, spacious desk with only basic tools and materials. Just add the wooden components and finish with whatever paint or stain catches your whimsy. Plans are included for a desk measuring 24'' x 48'', but you can customize the dimensions to fit your space and needs. The plans also detail a beam support on the underside, allowing you to use affordable sheet goods without sagging. If you plan to use a thick slab top, it is likely rigid enough to stay flat without support, meaning you can use the brackets for cubbies or other accessories. The completed desk is at home in a wide variety of decors. Made from solid steel for excellent durability and strength.
