Jet Helical Cutterhead Planer JWP-15BHH, 15'' Head

With a powerful 3 HP motor and a helical cutterhead, Jet's 15'' helical head planer quickly and quietly transforms rough lumber into smooth boards. Thanks to its 48 staggered quick-change carbide knives, the planed surface is exceptionally smooth, requiring very little sanding. The innovative Precision Air Strut System (PASS™) provides consistent upward pressure on the cutterhead, reducing the chance of snipe, while the conveniently located two-speed gear box allows for quick, easy feed rate adjustments. The planer is capable of removing up to 1/8'' with each pass, and the large, precision cast-iron table and infeed/outfeed tables provide excellent stability and accuracy.
