Your pens and pencils will have a distinctive, unique look with swirl-patterned acrylic acetate pen blanks. These blanks provide excellent density and improved working properties. Available in five patterns.
Features:
All blanks measure 5" long x 5/8" square.
Turns very quickly; take care turning with light pressure.
Blanks can be finished after turning by sanding to a fine grit and then polishing on a buffing wheel with CorianĀ® polish, buffing compound or Hut finishing blocks.
Each blank is sold individually.

A question that often comes up when turning acrylic handles is how to install the threaded insert that is included in most Rockler turning kits into an acrylic turning blank.
Turning tools that feature negative rake cutters make it easier to turn these hard materials. The term negative rake refers to the shape of the cutting angle of the carbide.
