Composed of strips of premium hardwood, this cutting board kit is a beautiful, durable and environmentally sustainable way to keep your knives sharp and your countertops pristine. And a cutting board as handsome as this is just as well-suited for serving as it is for cutting. The dense hardwoods—Cherry, Maple and Purpleheart—will hold up to the rigors of life on the chopping block. Properly maintained, wooden cutting boards can have an indefinite lifespan, and they can always be renewed with a little woodworking know-how. Just sand out the scratches and reapply the cutting board oil of your choice. The edges are pre-milled to provide a strong glue joint. We recommend a waterproof glue for assembly. Finish with a food-grade product such a butcher block oil. Approximately 5''W x 16''L x 3/4'' Thick.
