This Advanced GR-200PRO is a precision-guidance push block designed to help you make rip cuts more safely than with your hands alone and with better downward, forward and lateral control than conventional push blocks can provide. It eliminates bare-handed feeding and essentially acts as a movable blade guard that travels with your hand.
While the Advanced GR-200PRO has the same great features as the Grr-Ripper+ GR-100+ (#77771, sold separately), it also comes with two upgrades: an Adjustable Spacer and Stabilizing Plate. The Adjustable Spacer offers increased gripping surface for handling larger stock and adds a clearance feature for exposed router bits. A Stabilizing Plate acts as a broader secondary foot that travels with the Grr-Ripper+ and provides two more points of workpiece contact.
For improved setup and use, the SafeRip Kit includes two transparent orange indicators that attach to the jig's adjustable center leg. When viewed from above, the indicators show exactly where the center leg is positioned beneath the jig, so you can quickly and easily verify that it's clear of the blade path.
