This Freud beading bit makes quick work of routing both beaded moldings and beaded edges for larger cabinetry elements. With its integral guide bearing, there is no need to set the depth of cut with a fence. You can even use the bit without a router table at all. The taller section at the top of the carbide allows you to adjust the size of the upper shoulder, and you can adjust it flush if no shoulder is desired. A classic profile for cabinet work and architectural features, the bit is often used for restoration work in historic homes.
- Forms a single bead with a square shoulder.
- Commonly used by remodelers to match base moldings in historic homes.
- Cuts all composition materials, plywoods, hardwoods, and softwoods.
- Use on hand-held and table-mounted portable routers.
