The OF 1010 is a feature-rich plunge router with a compact, lightweight design that you can operate with just one hand. Dual guide columns ensure smooth plunging action and improve the router's torsional rigidity. The knob-style handle doubles as a plunge lock for both posts so you never have to take your hand off the grips. Its rotating turret lets you maintain three different depth settings and quickly switch between them. Depth adjustment is simple with the integral scale and zeroing function—no measuring required. Use the micro-depth adjuster to fine tune your depth-of-cut to the nearest 1/256'' for ultra-precise cuts. A chip extraction system is directly integrated into the router base with a dust port that will accept both D27 and D36 Festool vacuum hose nozzles.

Routing in low-light conditions will be easier, thanks to the Light Ring LM-OF accessory that sheds LED light on both the bit and the immediate area surrounding it. The light ring houses eight 5000K LEDs and mounts inside the router's base to provide shadow-free illumination. You also get the SA-OF 1010/MFK Parallel Side Fence that mounts to the router base with two guide rods for routing flutes, dados, grooves and other cuts parallel to the edge of a workpiece. It features a micro-adjustable fence with two separately adjustable sub-fences for accommodating different bit widths.
