The Festool Planex ''M'' Drywall Sander is a mid-priced model that combines popular features from the other Festool drywall sanders. It features the random orbit motion of the higher-end model, with the simpler fixed-length solid pole of the less expensive model. Excellent flexibility in the articulating head, as well as a knob for adjustable suction, make the Planex M a dream to use. The addition of a T-handle at the end allows extended reach by simply moving the position of your hand, and it also lets you stand the sander on its butt end while resting.
