Do away with drilling dust, no matter where you are! Whether it's capturing the shower of drywall dust that collects on baseboard moldings after hanging a picture frame, or preventing hand drilling dust from gradually overtaking your bench, our drill dust boot takes care of cleanup right on the spot. Thanks to the retractable hood, you get maximum suction around the drill bit, and minimal chance of stray shavings. The Dust Boot clicks easily onto our Click Connect Adapters (sold separately). Owners of our Portable Drill Guide (#52885, sold separately) will be glad to know that the Drill Dust Boot will also work in tandem with the guide. Just use the included screws to mount it to the Drill Guide for point source dust extraction on all of your portable precision drilling operations.
Click-Connect Drill Dust Boot Details:
- Attaches to all Click-Connect hose adapters to provide dust collection wherever you're drilling—into a wall, at a bench or on the floor
- Dust Boot surrounds the bit to capture chips and dust as they are created
- Canopy slides down to enclose bits for better collection, and locks in open and closed positions
- With the canopy down, it works with regular drill bits up to 3/4'' in diameter (and even larger with the canopy up)
- For Forstner bits up to 2-1/8'' in diameter, canopy slides back to allow positioning of bit head, then closes around shank
- Shape and textured areas make it easy to grip
- Canopy and base are translucent so you can see where you're drilling
- Base features bottom rubber gasket to reduce slipping and help provide a good seal
- Mounts to Rockler Portable Drill Guide (#52885, sold separately) with included machine screws and locknuts
- Overall footprint is 4-5/16'' wide x just over 4-5/8'' long
- Clicks onto all Click-Connect hose adapters (sold separately)
