This dust port fitting is designed with a very slim profile that minimizes interference with the drill press column. It allows the fence to get as close as possible to the column, meaning you can enjoy up to 3'' more of the total throat depth of your drill press when compared with using a typical dust port. The port is also angled upwards so that the hose does not catch on the table edge and obstruct movement of the fence along the table top. The hole pattern is the same as our older drill press fence dust port, so users of the older model can upgrade without need for modifications. It is also an identical replacement for the one included with our Drill Press Fence (#53648, sold separately).
