Dark Half Tung Oil/Orange Peel Oil Blend, 16 oz.
$39.99
Dark Half is a 50/50 blend of The Real Milk Paint Company's signature Dark Tung Oil and Citrus Solvent (orange peel oil). This powerful natural combination makes finishing and staining wood easy. Thinning tung oil is often necessary as it aids in the absorption of the oil deep into the wood, don't worry though, our Dark Half is pre-thinned for simple use right from the bottle. Dark Half is food contact safe and effectively seals wood with a matte water-resistant finish. Dark Half will work on all wood species (extra thinning may be required for dense hardwoods) and changes the natural color of the wood to a darkened, aged tone. Used for all types of wooden projects like furniture, butcher block, cutting boards, flooring, bowls, wooden utensils, and more. Generally, 3-5 coats are recommended for sufficient longlasting protection. Does require 15 days to partially cure and 30 days to fully cure.
