Amana's high-performance countersink bits feature a heavy-duty ball-bearing depth-stop that eliminates scratching and burning when it contacts the surface. One plunge drills a pilot hole and corresponding countersink for the screw head. The user-friendly design enables full adjustment of the pilot bit length and depth of the countersink, without the need for disassembly. Each bit has a generous open space to allow for chip evacuation.

Features:

  • Quick release 1/4'' hex shank for easy bit changes
  • Includes fully-ground straight pilot bit (slow-spiral M2 HSS), which many prefer since hole depth is not as critical as it is with tapered bits
  • Excellent for drilling hardwoods, softwoods, plywood, particleboard, MDF and composites
