The Makita 55'' Guide Rail is used to guide your Makita 6 ½” Plunge-Cut Circular Saw (e.g. #53605 and #57201, sold separately) in a smooth, dead-straight line, providing a more portable alternative to a table saw when cutting large sheet material. The track is available here as a replacement for a lost or damaged track, or as an extension to an existing track when you also purchase the Guide Rail Connector Set (#59195, sold separately). Two 55'' tracks combined are capable of ripping a full 8' sheet of plywood. The Guide Rail may also be used with your Makita router if the router is also equipped with the Router Guide Rail Adapter (#58111, sold separately).
