A foam-backed, silicone carbide-based abrasive with a stearate coating, Platin 2 was specially developed for high-gloss finishes on closed surface materials such as solid surface, plastics and fiberglass, as well as fillers and finishes. Platin 2 abrasive is best suited to extra-fine sanding work. Thanks to its soft foam backing, it adapts to slight contours, helping to prevent sand-through. The StickFix hook-and-loop attachment allows easy abrasive changes and later reuse.
